New Mouth (part 1)
02:29
|

Your time has come and gone,
Now you're watching from the shelf you're on,
I was standing by the shore,
Different waves around the same old core.

You might be better off now, who's to say?
In the end it won't be decided today,
When you come across a choice you've made,
Choose a path that you have yet to take,
And wind up finding a bigger, deeper dream
Somewhere in between.

Virginia in Vermont

She knew that it was time,
Four years and two loves gone,
She knew that it was time,
Time to move on down the line.
So she packed her bags and she kissed her folks goodbye.
Maybe if she hadn't gone so soon,
If she'd stuck around another day or two,
Maybe if she wasn't who she was
She'd be here now, but that's the way it is
For Virginia in Vermont
She's headed east to find something
And we were never told the least
Virginia in Vermont
She never said that this would be the end.
She knew that it was time,
Four years and two loves gone,
She knew that it was time,
Time to wind up down the line.
So she packed her bags and she kissed her folks goodbye.
Maybe if she hadn't gone so soon,
If she'd stuck around another day or two,
Maybe if she wasn't who she was
She'd be here now,
With a silent sound,
But the book's been bound she'd say
Virginia in Vermont
She's headed east to find something
And we were never told the least
Virginia in Vermont
She never said that this would be the end.
Oh, I know you
Fell away before you knew.
The echoes of your past
Wouldn't follow, couldn't last.
Was it ever your own choice?
Were you guided by your own voice?
Sometimes these things take some time,
Take some time now, take some time, take some time.
Virginia in Vermont
She's headed east to find something
And we were never told the least
Virginia in Vermont
She never said that this would be the end.
Virginia in Vermont
She's headed east to find something
And we were never told the least
Virginia in Vermont
She never said that this would be the end.

Old Mouth

Hiding on every street corner,
A pair of jeans inside a silky sweater,
Holding you down before your curtain's calling,
And won't stop if you don't drop, just drink the Kool-aid
Tasting like wine but moving much, much faster,
Boo-tay, salty sniff ooh yeah that's a disaster,
Boo-bay, ooh two fingers you kinda linger now
I'll kiss you on the mouth, girl.
I'll kiss you down south, girl.
I'll kiss you on the mouth, girl.
I'll kiss you down south and on your god-damn!
Ich werde deinen mund kussen
(Nicht jetzt, ich schlafe)
Verfuhrerisch
(Du schmeckst so verlockend)
Ich brauche einen imbiss
(Der kuchen macht dich suss)
Die zeit ist jetzt
(Du wirst mir nicht entkommen)
Hiding on every street corner,
A pair of jeans inside a silky sweater,
Holding you down before your curtain's calling.
Baby you know you wanna see me
Singing you sweetly on your TV
And when you come I'll be close behind.
I'll kiss you on the mouth, girl
I'll kiss you down south, girl
I'll kiss you on the mouth, girl
I'll kiss you down south
Looks like we caught you double-dipping
We'll take you to school, you get a couple lickings
Double teaming gave me trouble dreaming
So maybe go home and drink some Ovaltine
There's one more, if you gon' ask me you can bring your mother,
Sly dog, begging for treats when you are under covers,
I don't know if you love me but I know one thing...
I'll kiss you on the mouth, girl.
I'll kiss you down south, girl.
I'll kiss you on the mouth, girl.
I'll kiss you down south and on your god-damn mouth
I'll kiss you on the mouth, girl.
I'll kiss you down south and on your god-damn mouth
I'll kiss you on the mouth, girl.
I mean your mouth, that mouth, okay, let's go.

The Nord
08:06
|
|||
Through the stony gates of Solitude,
Walked a war-torn Nord called Gnozlud.
His bitter quest through many a ravine,
Had led him to slay that mighty Wolf Queen,
And the good folk said,
"Oh, it's Gnozlud the Nord.
He's got a big-ass sword,
With plus one to restore,
With which he'll slice your gord."
And the Wolf Queen, who was raised by some lich,
Heard Gnozlud exclaim, "DIE YOU OLD WITCH!"
He pierced her soul with his mightiest blow,
And left her to die in that harsh tundra snow,
And the good folk said,
"Oh, it's Gnozlud the Nord.
He's got a big-ass sword,
With plus one to restore,
With which he'll slice your gord."

Feels like we've both been here before.
It's like we all now what's in store.
Shouldn't be that hard to stay in touch,
And who knows why I like you so much.
I know sometimes these things get broken.
I think it'd due to words unspoken.
Maybe we should leave it as we found it,
But I get this feeling there's no way around it.
And I know that we've come this far.
Man, it might seem like much but at least it's a start,
And they said to me that it might never get better,
But that all has to do with how you measure.
And it feels like a brighter day,
Like maybe this shit can really go our way,
And I know that this could be the end,
But even if it is at least I saw my friends.
